We are hiring a Senior Java Engineer to join our organization on a remote basis! Required Skills: * 10+ years of Java development experience and Spring framework * Hands on experience with OpenShift * Messaging tool expertise (Ex: Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) * GitHub experience * Microservices and event driven architecture Job Description: * Ability to design software solutions, including documenting, collaborating and aligning with portfolio architects, solution architects, and the local team. * Strong ability to communicate, facilitate, educate within a group setting. * Strong ability to collaborate with others to solve local problems or complex design solutions both in and outside the team. * Ability to balance problem solving or working on for a variety of systems unrelated to one another. * Passion and appetite to drive technical improvements with the goal of speeding up delivery. * Assist, coach, and mentor other engineers on the team with day-to-day challenges, complex coding issues and/or problem solving. * The ability to translate and communicate complex technical issues into simple terms so other non-technical people outside of technology can understand. * Experienced in maturing devops and engineering practices. * Hands on experience in engineering of either existing or new solutions, enterprise integrations patterns, and/or microservices architecture. * Passion for continuous learning and sharing learnings with others. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
