Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Service Technician to join our fire business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead and execute the service, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm, burg alarm, CCTV and access control systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Possess expert working knowledge of various low voltage systems manufacturers (e.g., Notifier (Honeywell), Potter, DMP, Bosch, Hanwha).
  • Ensure all service and inspection work strictly adheres to all relevant local, state, and national codes and standards, including NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code). Conduct comprehensive inspections, testing, and verification of systems to certify compliance.
  • Work with limited supervision to manage time and complete complex service, inspection, and maintenance projects efficiently.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project requirements, develop timelines, and ensure timely completion.


Basic Qualifications:



  • A High School Diploma or GED, with vocational or trade school training in electronics or a related field being highly desirable
  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of verifiable, hands-on experience in the fire alarm or low-voltage electrical industry, focusing on installation, inspection, testing, and service
  • Expert and working knowledge of applicable fire and electrical codes, most notably the NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and the NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code - NEC)
  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for traveling to job sites


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Manufacturer, NICET, DCJS and any other licenses/certifications are preferred.



Salary: $38 - $40/hr depending on experience
