We are seeking a Senior Platform/Infrastructure Engineer responsible for maintaining and optimizing core cloud infrastructure-including networking, computing, storage, IAM, and security-through automation and best practices. This role develops and maintains the internal developer platform (IDP) to simplify cloud and Kubernetes usage, provides technical leadership, and ensures platform reliability, scalability, and compliance across IL5-6 environments. As a Senior Level Platform/Infrastructure Engineer your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Architect, implement, and maintain the internal developer platform. Define and enforce platform security, scalability, and availability standards. Integrate DevSecOps practices directly into platform workflows. Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with development teams on features and enhancements. Mentor and guide junior engineers. Ensure reliability, compliance, and performance across IL5-6 cloud environments. Monitor and maintain cloud services for networking, computing, storage, IAM, and overall system health. Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience (Master's preferred). Minimum of 10 years of related experience. Active or eligible for DoD Security Clearance. Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, and service mesh technologies. Expertise in IL5-6 Cloud Networking, compute, storage, IAM, and monitoring. Proven experience in platform design and developer enablement. Strong automation and infrastructure-as-code skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
