TheDirector, PDI Technology Portfolio is responsible for driving the strategic planning, governance, and execution of Global Partner's PDI technology portfolio. This role ensures that technology investments are aligned with business objectives, deliver measurable value, and are executed efficiently across multiple programs and projects. The Director will work closely with the business and technology stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and track portfolio performance. The ideal candidate understands the unique dynamics of the convenience store industry-high transaction volumes, complex supply chains, vendor integrations, operational efficiencies, and consumer expectations for seamless digital experiences. Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on the impact of PDI technology decisions, lead a team of product managers and business analysts that support PDI and adjacent retail solutions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and vendor partnership. Portfolio management and strategic alignment: prioritize initiatives with business stakeholders based on business and technology value ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment to strategic priorities. Maintain a comprehensive technology portfolio of all active and planned initiatives, including dependencies, risks, and value delivery. Develop and maintain clear technology roadmaps. Value & Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, ROI, and delivery outcomes. Serve as escalation point for cross-portfolio challenges. Risk & Dependencies: Manage cross-project risks and interdependencies. Financial Oversight: Oversee portfolio budgets, ensuring investments maximize ROI and balance short-term needs with long-term strategy. Partner with Finance and HR to optimize allocation of people, funding, and vendor resources across the portfolio. Stakeholder Management & Reporting: Communicate status, value, and risk to all relevant stakeholders. Engage business, IT, and vendor leaders effectively. Collaborate closely with Technology Product Leads to ensure product-level strategies and roadmaps align with the broader enterprise portfolio and investment priorities.
