Position Summary

The Office of the CIO Intern will support strategic initiatives and daily operations within the Office of the Chief Information Officer. This role offers exposure to enterprise IT leadership, digital transformation efforts, and cross-functional collaboration. The intern will assist with research, reporting, communications, and project coordination to help drive organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing executive-level presentations, reports, and dashboards for IT leadership.
  • Support CIO-led initiatives by coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and documenting outcomes.
  • Support IT VP on large cross-functional AI initiatives
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and internal process improvements.
  • Participate in special projects related to digital transformation, governance, or innovation.
  • Uphold company values of accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AI
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Interest in enterprise IT strategy and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or project experience in IT, strategy, or business operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or digital transformation concepts.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).

Salary Range:

$35,000.00 - $56,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
