Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Assistant Vice President - TS9530194 DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President in Jacksonville, FL to provide dedicated support to all 'Change the Bank' and 'Run the Bank' activities for Global UNIX infrastructure. Requires a Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent and five (5) years of experience installing Redhat Linux operating system for mass deployments using automated tools including Bladelogic and Ansible; remediating LDAP related issues and user setups; automating server builds and release processes using scripts in Linux and UNIX environments; performing production support tasks on Linux and Solaris servers, including provisioning system access, managing file space, and customizing Unix operating systems for optimum performance; upgrading hardware and operating system software patches, implementing and rolling out patches, and designing infrastructure for support and demonstration environments in Linux and Solaris; configuring bonding in Linux Servers and IPMP for Solaris hosts for redundancy; setting up FTP, NFS and Samba servers for file sharing; creating shell scripts to monitor system resources, perform maintenance, and schedule cron jobs; coordinating with vendors and technical support personnel to plan, manage, and perform upgrades of system infrastructure to meet performance and compatibility requirements; configuring and performing Veritas filesystem activities involving Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas cluster technologies (VCS) in Linux and Solaris environments; and configuring Unix servers to perform backup and restore activities using Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM). *Employer will accept three (3) years of academic study toward a Bachelor's degree in any field and two (2) years of experience to satisfy the Bachelor's degree requirement*. Salary range: $119,770.00 - $130,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
