About the Role

HARMAN is accelerating its journey to become an AI-first company. As part of HARMAN's Corporate Strategy & M&A team, you will drive the formulation of AI strategies in HARMAN Automotive and Lifestyle divisions, the definitions of cross-functional roadmaps, and the strengthening of HARMAN's AI ecosystem.

What You Will Do

Strategy & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Translate AI trends and innovations into concrete opportunities for HARMAN's businesses
  • Act as a thought partner to the HARMAN senior leadership team on AI strategies and roadmaps
  • Cooperate with Samsung stakeholders and leverage Samsung's AI investments and innovation power
  • Shape partnerships with AI ecosystem players and evaluate potential investments

AI Transformation

  • Drive the definition of AI strategies and roadmaps across HARMAN
  • Partner with HARMAN leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute high-value AI initiatives, with strategic or large operational impact
  • Ensure the value delivery of priority AI initiatives by defining milestones, KPIs, and accountability frameworks

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field; advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years' experience in technology-led business transformation
  • Proven track record in designing and executing AI-driven business transformation with measurable impact (e.g., cost efficiency, revenue enablement, customer experience)
  • Understanding of AI/ML technology stack and ecosystem, with ability to assess feasibility, scalability, and vendor trade-offs
  • Strong ability to influence C-level stakeholders and to lead cross-functional programs without direct authority and project management skills
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and business sense with strong analytical skills, results orientation
  • Experience working in global, highly matrixed organizations

What is Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in strategy consulting
  • Exposure to automotive or consumer electronics industries
  • Relevant certifications in AI, cloud technologies, or solution architecture

  • Be willing to work in an office located in Stamford, CT (Hybrid)
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Pay Transparency
$ 180,000 - $ 264,000
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.
Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
