What You'll Do:

Content Partnerships



  • Define and execute Ventura's content partnership strategy across streaming apps, FAST channels, AVOD/SVOD/TVOD services.
  • Negotiate distribution agreements that optimize consumer experience while maximizing ad inventory and monetization opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with content publishers to ensure Ventura's content lineup is competitive and differentiated.
  • Align content strategy with OEM and retail partners' brand positioning, merchandising priorities, and retail media initiatives.


Ad Monetization



  • Work with product and engineering to further define Ventura's video and display advertising measurement, targeting, and yield optimization strategies.
  • Develop monetization frameworks for SVOD/TVOD/AVOD/FAST, retail media activations, and new ad formats (shoppable ads, sponsorships, interactive units).
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver actionable insights and audience data to partners, supporting transparent reporting and yield improvement.


Cross-Functional Leadership



  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to ensure smooth deal execution and go-to-market launches.
  • Represent Ventura in executive-level discussions with OEMs, retailers, and advertising partners.
  • Drive quarterly business reviews with key partners, focusing on performance, roadmap alignment, and growth opportunities.



What You Bring:



  • 10+ years of experience in digital media, OTT/CTV content acquisition, ad-tech partnerships, or related business development roles.
  • Proven track record negotiating content licensing and ad-revenue deals (AVOD, FAST, SVOD, TVOD).
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, retail media networks, and CTV monetization models.
  • Strong network of relationships across streaming platforms, studios, and ad-tech providers.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex technical and commercial concepts into partner-friendly terms.
  • Skilled at balancing partner needs with platform monetization goals in an open ecosystem environment.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$151,100 $277,000 USD
