Costing Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job type: Full time

Schedule: Standard Daytime hours, Monday-Friday

Base Salary: $65,000 - $90,000

*Compensation for this position includes annual salary, 10% short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.

What You'll Do

The primary role of the Costing Analyst is to partner with the Pricing Team, Category Managers and Sales to maximize Viking Electric profitability through enhanced costing analysis, and Vendor collaboration.

You will...



  • Manage strategic deployment of rebates, partnering with salespeople to identify and implement rebate opportunities.
  • Determine pricing strategy on new costing opportunities, establishing prices that meet market demands.
  • Acquire and maintain into-stock cost data accurately, effectively engaging with suppliers.
  • Improve into-stock cost position through cost analysis and supplier negotiation

  • Ability to develop and execute processes effectively.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships and influence decisions.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must have valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
