About the team

  • Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we're best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still - delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world.

  • The A-Team delivers many important features to support and augment our payment process capabilities. A few recent team accomplishments: Delivery of automating onboarding for our merchants to register with card brands to enable payment processing using microservice technology stack. Work directly with our ecommerce processing platform (VAP), delivering features throughout the year, focused on getting the correct credentials for our merchants. This is done via file-based integrations with the card brands as well as creating/integrating with in-house microservices that allow Worldpay to leverage other offerings by card brands via their restful APIs. Offerings change and our product vision pivots as well, making it an exciting time to join a team optimizing our solutions based on what is available in the payment landscape.

What you'll own

  • Controlling and managing daily test activities such as performing usability testing and communicating activities and findings.

  • Writing automated component and acceptance tests.

  • Provide operational production support.

  • Estimating user story test effort, writing user story acceptance criteria, writing user story test cases, and implementing the test cases in test code.

  • Recommending test approaches for code under test.

What you bring

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing

  • Knowledge of application development, software testing and quality management

  • Expertise in at least one object-oriented language, preferably Java

  • Behavior-driven development with Karate or Cucumber

  • Experience with complex SQL queries and working with large relational databases

  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins

  • Working knowledge of GitHub and intellij

  • Exposure working with microservice APIs

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $87,300.00 - $142,500.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
