Overview

Milton CAT is seeking an experienced Service Systems Trainer. The candidate will be based within the Milton CAT territory and work as part of the Service Operations department. Responsibilities include identifying, developing, and providing training to Service employees within the Milton CAT territory. The goal is to improve overall technical competency of all team members and provide consistency from branch to branch.

Territory: Maine/New Hampshire/Vermont

Pay Rate: $55,000 - $75,000/year based on location, education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person as well as remote training to new and existing Milton CAT employees
  • Continuously review and evaluate training programs and best practices to remain current with the latest training material and delivery methods and trends
  • Continuously review and validate process documentation
  • Perform process testing and validation
  • Utilize Caterpillar's online training website to assign online classes to employees, and report on employee completion
  • Participation in Service Department Procedure and Training Committees
  • Develop and lead Service process training classes as defined
  • Collaboration with Process Trainers on training content and workload
  • Perform related duties as assigned


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

  • Ability to train new subjects and concepts to all employees and drive consistency in process execution
  • Dynamic presentation skills with strong public speaking & overall communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to develop training and utilize E-Learning
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel to other Milton CAT locations as needed

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Prior industry experience preferred but not required.
