About the Job

Job description:
Project Responsibilities 50%
* Supports CRM and MMRC team with equipment management and monitoring
* Supports CRM and MMRC team with driving development, procedure development, and ongoing education
* Covers clinical shifts for upcoming clinical trial as a driver of the ambulance for 6-10 hour shifts
* Works with CRM team to establish a rotating schedule of drivers and team to cover all clinical trial shifts
* Completes regular vehicle checks for vehicles involved in clinical trial and MMRC
* Reviews and analyzes driving and vehicles ongoing for MMRC
Community Outreach 50%
* Communications with partnering EMS agencies to ensure rapid and safe response to ECMO activations
* Develops communication with EMS for equipment needs or cleaning options during clinical trial shifts
* Works with CRM team to accomplish outreach to partnering EMS agencies
* Assists with other community outreach for mobile ECMO truck and ambulance

Work schedule: This position will be 1 day on campus or based on clinical schedule

Qualifications

All required qualifications must be included in the application materials

Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED Minimum
* Class B driver's license and current CDL health card
* Experience driving trucks and heavy vehicles, specific EMS/Fire response experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with faculty and staff,
* Demonstrated experience and organization of general and day-to-day office processes with the ability to work independently and multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:
* Higher Education Certificate or Bachelor's degree
* Experience in an academic, public safety, or medical environment
* Experience driving for emergency response for 5 years or more
* Demonstrated ability to work with and adapt to new technologies and processes without significant direction

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
