In the role of Project Manager Assistant, we'll count on you to:
- Work as part of the geotechnical section under the supervision of a Project Manager to coordinate the work of a multidisciplined team throughout the entire project's development.
- Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
- Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions in conjunction with all disciplines.
- Coordinate workload throughout the entire project development to ensure the timely completion of documents.
- Work with the Project Manager, Regional Controller, and the Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews with Corporate management on an as-needed basis.
Establish sequencing of tasks from financial management through successful completion, utilizing our technology, standards, and project delivery practices. Take responsibility for project management, including developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and quality of products. - Work closely with our technical design staff and act as a resource for questions related to project management processes, procedures and budgets.
- Travel is required to perform project work on an as-needed basis.
- Previous experience with tunnel projects strongly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5 years related experience
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
