Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help develop our next generation data platform and help to improve our current Analytics platform. We are running on hybrid cloud, leveraging modern BI tooling, and building cutting-edge infrastructure as a service offerings to expand our platform and skillsets. You will be reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering.

• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying high-volume, high transaction-based, distributed and redundant cloud applications.
• Background developing in .NET technologies.
• Comfortable writing testable code along with unit, integration and functional tests.
• Experience with modern distributed architecture for scalable and fast applications.
• Experience troubleshooting front end UI, building microservices and HTTP APIs.
• Experience working in agile teams in a Continuous Delivery model.
• Demonstrated understanding of design patterns, principles, and frameworks.
• Demonstrated understanding of security concepts and best practices.

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related area or equivalent industry experience.
• 6+ years of professional development experience.
• Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc).
• Experience with messaging platforms (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, etc).
• Experience with data orchestration tools (Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Spark, Databricks).
• Experience working as part of a time zone-distributed team.
• Experience with the Azure cloud.
• Experience with full technology stack, from UI to DB.
• Experience with other object-oriented languages such as Python, GoLang or Java.
