Quality Inspector

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

• End of Line 100% Inspection according to Work Instruction.

• Responsible for identifying rejected and rework glass.

• Responsible for filling up the daily defect report.

• Responsible for data collection on the line.

• Perform any quality evaluation test of the glass and components.

• Stop the line according to the escalation process.

• Perform GP12 inspection and correct packaging of parts.

• Review the Shipping plan to define inspection priorities.

• Confirm labels required for shipment.

• Dock audit for shipment

• Assist with developments, measuring, and sorting.

• Rework of parts to meet customer specifications.

• Perform inventories.

• SCRAP evaluation and disposal.

• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor as required.

Supervision: No direct reports to supervise.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Working Conditions:

Working in a manufacturing-type environment. PPE must be worn at all times.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 25 pounds repetitively for an 8-hour shift.

Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
