Supervisor, Janitorial Services - JLL What this job involves: As a Supervisor of Janitorial Services at JLL, you will ensure the proper operation and performance of all aspects of a comprehensive sanitation program in both manufacturing and administrative environments. This role is essential to validating that all hourly staff perform their jobs to established standards while maintaining the highest level of professionalism in appearance and manner. You will oversee comprehensive cleaning operations, manage staff performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain zero safety incidents while achieving measurable objectives including KPI compliance and client satisfaction. What your day-to-day will look like: * You will review previous shift End of Shift (EOS) reports, annotate carryover items, and develop action plans * You will conduct beginning of shift briefings including personnel assignments to routes and equipment, safety briefings, and submit reports to PM * You will ensure all personnel conduct pre and post operation checks on assigned equipment throughout the shift * You will run the floor operations, flexing employees to address hot spots and absences while deploying emergency response cleanup via radio * You will audit routes using Corrigo to assess employee cleaning and sanitizing procedures and report incidents to JLL/Safety leadership * You will supervise cleaning staff performance focusing on cleanliness standards and behavior while conducting PPE spot checks * You will train employees on JLL policies, vendor procedures, UAW policies, Lock-Out safety processes, and proper chemical usage through Task Instruction Sheets (TIS) Required Qualifications: * You must have previous management experience in a supervisory role * You must have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience * You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * You must have experience working in a unionized environment * You must demonstrate strong organizational and management skills * You must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills * You must have the ability to work overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications: * You should have knowledge of OSHA, State, and Local regulatory compliance requirements * You should have understanding of HAZMAT compliance and environmental compliance initiatives * You should have familiarity with ISO compliance standards * You should have experience with environmental emergency response procedures * You should have knowledge of cleaning equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures Location: Claycomo, MO Location: On-site -Claycomo, MOIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
