General Purpose of the Job

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Lead, Quality Assurance(IT) to spearhead our automation initiatives. This role involves designing and leading end-to-end automation strategies across UI, API, and Database layers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in test automation frameworks, a strategic mindset for scalable test coverage, and leadership experience to mentor and guide a team of automation engineers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Automation Strategy & Leadership
  • Define, implement, and lead the test automation strategy aligned with product and release goals.
  • Own the automation roadmap and drive continuous improvements in automation practices.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Development teams to integrate automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Framework Design & Enhancements
  • Evaluate, select, and enhance test automation frameworks and tools for UI, API, and DB validation.
  • Ensure frameworks are scalable, reusable, and maintainable across multiple projects.
  • Develop reusable libraries and custom utilities to extend automation capabilities.
• Test Development & Execution
  • Lead the design and implementation of automated test cases for web applications across UI, API, and DB layers.
  • Maintain and optimize existing test suites to ensure high reliability and performance.
  • Ensure adequate test coverage and fast feedback in agile sprints.
• Collaboration & Leadership
  • Mentor and guide a team of automation engineers and testers on best practices.
  • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and defect triage meetings.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in test automation and quality engineering.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and contribute to issue resolution.
  • Provide metrics and dashboards that reflect automation progress and quality trends.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and implement relevant innovations.

Education and Experience

• 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance
• Bachelor's Degree required.
