GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of aggregate inventory and associated reserves, ensuring accurate financial

reporting, compliance with regulations and effective inventory management. This role involves analyzing inventory data, preparing financial

reports and collaborating with various departments to support the company's financial goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

1. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

2. Experience working in a construction or manufacturing related industry.

3. 3-5 years of experience in inventory or general accounting preferred.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Work safely and take action to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.

2. Maintain accurate financial records including state level income statement and balance sheet results.

3. Control timing, accuracy, and issues related to the month end close process.

4. Oversee accounting functions including maintaining process efficiencies, ensuring controls compliance, and researching issues.

5. Manage and develop state accounting team staff. Collaborate with regional and corporate accounting teams.

6. Serve as business partner to operations including analyzing financial trend results, watching for opportunities and preparing for risks.

7. Track and monitor capitalization spend and coordinate communication on spend expectations and intended results.

8. Maintain accurate recording of fixed asset management including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.

9. Oversee internal and external auditing including coordinating documentation for substantive and controls testing and collaborating with auditors to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy in reporting.

10. Regular travel to sites in Montana and Wyoming will be required, including overnight stays (~once per quarter). Occasional travel to regional offices in Boise or other corporate locations will be encouraged.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITITES

1. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in accounting

software.

2. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing inventory records and process.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

4. Autonomous management skills with ability to develop independent teams while maintaining accountability.
