Distribution Construction Coordinator I: $52,700 - $65,900
Distribution Construction Coordinator II: $64,500 - $80,600
Sr Distribution Construction Coordinator: $72,900 - $97,200
Lead Distribution Construction Coordinator: $86,000 - $114,700

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or as work conditions dictate.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Manager of Distribution Project Management, this role is responsible for organizing, executing, and coordinating line construction activity in the Distribution division and ensure they are aligned with our distribution capital investment plan. The selected candidate will oversee project controls, including workforce planning, construction cost tracking, and job assignment coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support and strategic guidance on Time and Equipment construction management, focusing on, construction scheduling, cost analysis, and project control measures.
* Leverage technology and digital tools to monitor the status of design, construction, and financial investments across programs, work orders, and jurisdictions.
* Collaborate with design, construction, and scheduling teams to ensure timely and accurate updates on construction progress.
* Work cross-functionally with teams such as Distribution Project Management, Distribution Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering and Design, Line Construction, Vegetation Management, Real Estate, and other support units to identify and resolve project constraints.
* Compile and prepare data for regular planning and coordination meetings.
* Contribute to financial planning and annual workforce resource planning efforts, ensuring capital investment targets are met by jurisdiction and project.
* Generate ad-hoc reports to support workload management and financial forecasting.
* Provide support during storm response and recovery efforts as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
* Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing large scale construction projects, including project controls, workforce planning, material forecasting, and financial oversight.
* Preferred experience with enterprise resource solutions, and business intelligence tools such as Maximo, PowerPlan, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Power BI.
* Specific background in distribution line construction management is highly desirable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to prioritize work and track many projects of varying complexity and cost across our service territory and must demonstrate the following abilities:

* Bottom-line oriented, budget conscious, and metric/measurement driven.
* Influencer must possess the ability to lead team members of a diverse background using personal qualities, expertise, and relationships to guide and inspire others, without direct organizational authority.
* Structured thinker - Strong analytical skills
* Working knowledge of job types and assets being managed and constructed.
* Motivated self-starter who embraces opportunity within all challenges.
* Experience or a general knowledge of work and business processes related to project controls management for large construction projects.
* Understanding of financial reporting and assimilating information for reports.
* Ability to work independently and solve problems without much guidance or direction.
* Good administrative and technical abilities to deal with large volumes of data and deal with multiple priorities and projects. Requires comprehensive skills in personal computer applications, and preferred knowledge of distribution work and financial system applications. Working knowledge of Windows, databases and spreadsheets required.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present information to other work groups in a concise manner.
* Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment and build relationships with all customers and work groups.
* Must demonstrate exceptional skills in interpersonal relations, self-motivation and organization and must be able to hold others accountable.
* Coachable and willing to learn from others and humble to recognize limits of their own knowledge.

Licenses, Certification, Bonding and/or Testing Required:
Valid driver's license required. Must have a safe driving history.

Working Conditions: Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions and may include occasional field work.
