About the Team:

Salesforce Studios is the in-house creative production team responsible for all things video. We are a fast-paced, highly collaborative group of producers, editors, motion graphics artists, and cinematographers who tell powerful stories that educate, inspire, and entertain. We operate at the forefront of technology, constantly innovating with new formats and tools to create premier content that drives business impact and builds brand trust.

Your Role:

As a Lead Video Editor, you will be a key creative force, taking ownership of video projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, defining a project's visual style, and executing complex edits that engage audiences across all of Salesforce's platforms. This is a hands-on role for a true visual storyteller who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, mentor junior team members, and champion creative excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Storytelling:

  • Lead the post-production process for a variety of video projects, including brand films, customer testimonials, product launches, event recaps, and internal communications.

  • Assemble raw footage into a polished, cohesive, and compelling narrative, ensuring pacing, flow, and continuity are optimized.

  • Collaborate closely with producers, creative directors, and stakeholders to translate creative briefs into final deliverables that meet strategic goals.

Motion Graphics & Visual Effects:

  • Create and integrate advanced motion graphics, animated text, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and brand messaging.

  • Utilize and maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce brand guidelines to ensure all visual elements are consistent.

Generative AI:

  • Generate high-quality video content for a variety of purposes, including marketing campaigns, product demos, and social media content, using state-of-the-art AI video tools.

  • Develop and execute advanced prompting techniques to achieve desired artistic outcomes, ensuring consistency in characters, styles, and visual storytelling.

  • Design, build, and refine complex AI-assisted pipelines that integrate generative tools with traditional video editing and visual effects software.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI, including new models (e.g., Sora, Veo, Runway, Midjourney, etc.) and techniques, to discover new creative possibilities.

  • Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges related to AI video generation, including rendering issues and file format limitations.

Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to junior editors and freelancers.

  • Contribute to the team's creative vision, proactively suggesting process improvements and innovative approaches to video production.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-7+ years of hands-on professional video editing and motion graphics experience in a fast-paced corporate or agency environment.

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio or reel showcasing a wide range of video work, demonstrating exceptional storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and technical proficiency.

  • Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Strong skills in color correction using tools like DaVinci Resolve, sound design, and audio mixing. Advanced skills with generative AI tools like Veo, Runway, Midjourney, and Sora.

  • Creative Mindset: A passion for storytelling and an ability to translate complex, technical concepts into clear, engaging, and emotionally resonant videos.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage feedback from multiple stakeholders.

  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
