Aftersales Service Engineer

Stellantis is seeking a technically skilled and collaborative Aftersales Service Engineer to lead Mopar's aftersales strategy for critical vehicle security components such as keys and immobilizer systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring these systems are supported efficiently across vehicle launches and lifecycle service. You'll also contribute to New Vehicle Prep and Technical Licensing initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to shape vehicle security service strategy while working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You'll have visibility across engineering, product development, and commercial teams, with the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Mopar, Product Development, and Suppliers to support vehicle security systems.
  • Develop and implement strategic service support plans for new model and system launches.
  • Coordinate Mopar's launch readiness tracking and reporting for security components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product and order issues related to vehicle security systems.
  • Support FOB programming and cutting when required.
  • Escalation support for field and technical support departments.
  • Continuously improve Mopar's service model for security components.
  • Support New Vehicle Prep planning and issue resolution.
  • Assist in managing the Technical Licensing program, including:
  • Revenue target setting
  • Data issue resolution
  • Negotiation of terms with external partners

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering or aftersales within the automotive industry
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with software coding and/or vehicle CAN bus communications
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting vehicle or security systems
  • Familiarity with Mopar operations and dealership environments
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable presenting ideas to all levels of management
  • Multilingual with Italian and/or Spanish
