Description Position at K&D Factory Service *Lead Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician* *Carlislie, PA* We're seeking a Lead Commercial Service Technician with deep expertise in commercial refrigeration to take charge of field operations, mentor junior techs, and serve as a frontline ambassador for our brand. This is a leadership role for a seasoned professional who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute service calls for commercial refrigeration systems, including reach-in/walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and prep equipment Serve as a technical authority, guiding diagnostics and repairs with precision and efficiency Mentor and support junior technicians through hands-on training and field coaching Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions Coordinate with dispatch, sales, and management to ensure seamless service delivery Provide prompt and accurate quotes for suggested repairs and/replacements Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to customer retention Maintain service vehicle and manage parts inventory with accountability Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service needs Document service activities and ensure compliance with company standards Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC repair Proven ability to lead service calls independently and manage customer relationships Strong electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Professional appearance and commitment to excellence Completion of a successful background check and drug screen.
