Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Build or optimize Generative AI solutions and help the business to address complex problems Requirements: Proven hands-on experience implementing Gen AI project using open source LLMs (Llama, GPT OSS, Gemma, Mistral) and proprietary API's (OpenAI, Anthropic) Strong background in retrieval augmented generation implementations In depth understanding of embedding models and their applications Hands on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions on text data Strong Python development skills Should be comfortable with Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and feature engineering Experience building and integrating APIs (REST, FastAPI, Flask) for serving models Fine tuning and optimizing open source LLM/SLM Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and orchestration Experience in ML and deep learning Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Experience working with Agile Methodology Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong written and oral communication skills Should have the ability to clearly express ideas Strong knowledge in building Gen AI solutions Knowledge of ML and Deep Learning Should have worked on NLP and Gen AI projects and must be an expert in Python Ready to do hands-on coding Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
