Shipper Receiver - Selah Plant

SUMMARY: To successfully ship/receive quality Tree Top products in a safe, efficient, and expedient manner while professionally representing TreeTop to external customers. Organize load plan per layout and weight. Communicate with internal and external representatives (personnel) both verbally and in writing. Operate different lift trucks and attachments safely and efficiently. Only a qualified trained Shipper and Warehouse Forklift Driver can relieve this position.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Zero to six months position related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate in English.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words, and to recognize similarities and differences between words and a series of numbers.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, other employees of TreeTop.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of measure.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to: Extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, and loud noise.
