SUMMARY: Operate the filler for start-up, shut-down, CIP, sterilizing and pasteurizing. Fill containers with product that meets specifications, then enclose containers and properly cool product. Monitor the process to obtain a high quality product that meets customer and process specifications.

  1. Perform changeovers by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  2. Clean, Sanitize and CIP the filler and work area:
  3. Operate/ Observe Filler, Capper, Rinser and Cooler box
  4. Supply Raw Materials
  5. Observe the Process to Maintain Flow
  6. Monitor and Perform Quality Checks
  7. Record Downtime, Testing and Resources
  8. Maintain a Clean, Safe Work Area


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



  • Zero to six months position related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate in English


LANGUAGE SKILLS:



  • Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words, and to recognize similarities and differences between words and a series of numbers
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, other employees of Tree Top.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls: reach with hands and arms; climb or balance: and talk or hear: taste or smell:
  • The employee will also: Sit stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Employee must frequently lift and/ or move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for testing, distance vision for observing line flow, color vision for testing and seeing juice/ sauce color, peripheral vision to observe two processes, depth perception for working with machinery and the ability to adjust focus for seeing defective material.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to:

    • Extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, and loud noise.




The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PAY INFORMATION:

Salary Range: $20.36-$25.65/HR

This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this position's grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors, such as experience and, if applicable, location. Salary increases are determined by promotional opportunities. Tree Top provides a weekly payroll. This position is eligible for annual safety incentive.
