This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for: a Channel Solutions Engineer. The RingCentral Channel Solutions Engineer is a technical pre-sales specialist, responsible for partnering with Partner (Channel) Managers and their aligned Channel Partners.

A Channel SE should have in-depth knowledge on the entire RingCentral Ecosystem, including; RingCentral RingEX (formerly called RingCentral MVP), RingCentral RingCX, RingCentral Contact Center and the overall technical architecture of RingCentral's solutions. Equivalent knowledge with other vendors within the UCaaS and CCaaS space can be taken into consideration as well.

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

Primary responsibilities include general Partner enablement and training, remote and onsite product demonstrations, prospect network readiness, and solution validation via Proof of Concepts (POC) for sales opportunities. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring and supporting SE collaborative teams, managing customer feature requests and document for product teams, lab testing, continued education on the platform and underlying technologies, and support industry-related trade shows and events.

Additional responsibilities may include working alongside (co-selling) RingCentral's Channel Partners in acquiring new business with prospective customers. Previous experience in working with prospective customers (whether via a Sales or SE role) is highly desirable.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience serving in the capacity of a Technical Sales Engineer in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment, or equivalent, relevant experience

  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership to the Channel account team and engineers

  • Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams

  • Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity.

  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned region

  • Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one or more of the following areas of specialization: Voice, Contact Center, Video, Mobile Communications

  • Knowledge of VoIP and data networking protocols

  • Understanding of customer communications requirements for enterprise business markets.

  • Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings.

  • Demonstrates the ability to excel at understanding and communicating complex technical solutions and issues.

  • Some understanding of software development technologies is desirable.

  • Some experience with project management and resource tracking.

  • Demonstrated ability to implement, drive and track projects.'

If you are hired in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $121,000 and $173,000 for full-time employees, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
