Job Description

The Global Product organization delivers the holistic product strategy for Visa and accelerates the seamless delivery of our products into markets. We are at the core of Visa's vision to be the best way to pay and be paid for everyone, everywhere. The Global Product Delivery team is a business level program management office responsible for successfully delivering on Global Product's priority objectives through superior execution of project and program management best practices. We collaborate closely with our Product teams and cross-functional colleagues across the organization.

As a Director in the Global Product Delivery team, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of complex, high-impact programs. You will be instrumental in shaping the vision and operational framework of our product delivery processes, ensuring alignment with Visa's strategic objectives. Your role will involve steering large-scale initiatives, managing significant risk, and driving innovation in delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:Help define and drive the strategic vision for Global Product Delivery, aligning with Visa's broader business objectives. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver transformational programs that significantly impact business growth.
  • Program Oversight:Oversee and guide the execution of complex, multi-regional programs. Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with high-quality outcomes.
  • Risk Management:Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program delivery. Develop robust contingency plans to address potential challenges proactively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with senior and executive leadership and key stakeholders. Communicate program progress, risks, and opportunities effectively to drive alignment and support.
  • Innovation and Process Improvement:Champion innovative approaches to program management. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Development:Mentor and develop a high-performing team of program managers. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

  • Extensive experience leading large-scale, complex programs in a global, matrixed organization.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 161,500.00 to 234,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
