What's the job? We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to be based out of Bristol, RI to work on projects that will focus on part design, process improvement and understanding of manufacturing tools, processes and materials selection as they pertain to the manufacturing of critical engineered components such as spring-energized seals, metal seals, lip seals and others. The incumbent will be the primary resource for application testing (simulation and physical testing) associated with new product development and introduction, working in a laboratory environment. The preferred candidate will possess the knowledge, skill and ability to safely conduct testing utilizing scientific testing equipment including, but not limited to load and leakage testing, and the ability to perform numerical simulations and apply engineering principles to understand product performance, and work with customers to solve their application challenges.

BENEFITS IN JOINING USPay Transparency: Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $70,000 to $108,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $76,300 to $117,700. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee. |
