Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Rochester, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Perform work in a manufacturing and prototyping environment.
  • Read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
  • Work with very fragile and precise assemblies.
  • Assist with identifying problems and suggesting solutions.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices.
  • Work with a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment.

Here's what you'll get:

  • Pay rate: $30.00-$34.00/Hour
  • Hours: 9/80 1st Shift
  • Length: Contract (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in production assembly.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree
  • Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical discipline.
  • Aerospace or Defense industry experience.
  • Experience with shop equipment, including but not limited to Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Proficient with measuring tools (verniers, calipers, scales, etc.)
  • Be able to perform as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment.
  • Be able to arrive on time!
  • Be able to work in a team-based environment and interact with support team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information :

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Ability to work overtime/weekends/shifts and some travel.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around for long periods.
  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a [Secret] DoD security clearance.
