Position Description

  • To oversee and support the organization's security operations by managing electronic security systems, supervising Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate security records.
  • This role is responsible for conducting audits, reviewing access controls, and collaborating with internal departments to enhance the effectiveness and reliability of physical and electronic security infrastructure.


  • Essential Job Tasks:
  • Manages and monitors electronic security systems, including Avigilon and Symmetry Access Control, to detect and respond to unauthorized activity.
  • Supervises and coordinates SOC personnel, ensuring adherence to established security protocols, proper incident documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Utilizes Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and reporting tools to log events, assign personnel to service calls, and maintain accurate records of security activity.
  • Conducts regular audits and access reviews to ensure proper authorization, system accuracy, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborates with internal departments and technology teams to test, implement, and improve physical security systems and procedural controls.


  • Position Requirements

  • Master's Degree + 5 years experience, Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of experience, Associate's Degree + 8 years experience or High School Diploma/GED + 10 years experience working in a dispatch or security monitoring center required.
  • Must obtain physical security certifications within +2 years of employment: Preferred Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
  • Must be adaptable, tech-savvy professional with strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, able to perform under pressure.


  • Compensation Information:
    $82,520 - $103,140 (min. - mid.)
