SUMMARY: Apply label to container for identification of product. Perform control checks on glue, flagging, tearing, and placement of label. Monitor performance of labeler to reduce waste. Correct problems to keep process flowing. Only a qualified Label Operator or TR can relieve this position.

  2. Perform Proper Setup of the Labeler
  3. Monitor and Maintain Supplies
  4. Monitor Labeler Performance
  5. Operate Labeler Properly
  6. Monitor Control Points and Quality Specifications
  7. Perform Label Application Adjustment and Maintain Labeler
  8. Maintain Line Flow and Communicate with Co-Workers
  9. Perform Cleaning Procedures
  10. Record Paperwork


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



  • Zero to Six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate in English.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:



  • Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words, and to recognize similarities and differences between words and a series of numbers.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, other employees of TreeTop.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be required to:

    • Sit stand, walk, use hands to; finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance; talk or hear; taste or smell; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.




The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to read paperwork and procedures, distance vision to drive a forklift and monitor line flows, color vision to identify materials from a distance, peripheral vision to see forklift traffic, depth perception for stacking product and ability to adjust focus for monitoring the process for problems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to:

    • Extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, and loud noise.




The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PAY INFORMATION:

Salary Range: $19.87 - 25.17/HR

This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this position's grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors, such as experience and, if applicable, location. Salary increases are determined by promotional opportunities. Tree Top provides a weekly payroll. This position is eligible for annual safety incentive.
