Position Summary The Packer position assists the Operators in the safe operation of conversion equipment to produce quality products. Shift: 2nd shift Shift Premium Amount: $1.00 Pay Rate: $18.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures * Keep work area clean and organized * Maintain 6S work standards for work center * Assist Operator in set-ups and Preventative Maintenance * Follow work instructions and production schedules * Make minor adjustments as needed to ensure product quality meets specifications * Inspect and package mailers as required per work instruction * Ensure product packaged complies with quality standards and specifications * Ensure product is packaged correctly and carton counts are accurate * Ensure all cartons are lot code stamped * Stack packaged cartons on pallets per stacking diagram * Label finished pallets with proper I.D tags * Clean work area at end of each shift and ensure all items are stored properly * Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences * Other duties as assigned Requirements * Minimum 1 year of manufacturing related experience * Strong mechanical aptitude * Awareness towards safety * Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently * Operate pallet jack * Able to work overtime and on weekends Physical Requirements * Frequent standing, walking, and bending * Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30lbs * Eye/hand coordination Benefits and Perks 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Employee discounts Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid elder care Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Information at a Glance WHY WORK AT SEALED AIR?
