Description

The Physician Assistant -Orthopedic Trauma will work closely with orthopedic trauma surgeons to manage patients with acute musculoskeletal injuries such as fractures, dislocations and soft tissue trauma. Provides care to patients with severe injuries, including patient assessment, surgical first assist, post-operative care, and communication with the trauma team. This is a full-time position working within the Fairview Health System East Metro Hospitals. This role will require flexibility with the schedule to meet the needs of the team and patient care. Providers (PA/NP) that will work in non-Summit locations may need to be fully vaccinated or have been granted an approved medical or religious exemption prior to start date. These guidelines are determined by each non-Summit location and will be adhered to as appropriate.
Summit's hiring range for this position is $113,152 to $141,440 per year. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. Masters of Physician Assistant (required)
Experience
1 years: Minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in orthopedics (required)
Successful completion of accredited physician assistant program, certification by the NCCPA and licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Minnesota. (required) Licenses & Certifications
