Purchasing Support Assistant

Staffmark is hiring a Purchasing Support Assistant to join a dynamic team in West Carrollton, OH. This part-time role is perfect for someone with experience in purchasing or procurement who enjoys working with vendors, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records in an ERP system.

Pay: $20/hour

Shift Options: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Create and issue purchase orders to support daily operations
• Assist with urgent or special material requests
• Confirm order details (pricing, lead times, delivery dates) with vendors
• Track and expedite open orders to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate with suppliers about delays or changes
• Resolve basic supplier issues related to delivery or documentation
• Maintain accurate purchasing records in the ERP system
• Update vendor and item information as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Problem-solving mindset and a team-player attitude
