Staffmark is partnering with a leading packaging machinery company in Vandalia, OH, to hire a Shop Helper. This is your chance to work alongside skilled professionals, develop new skills, and be part of a growing, dedicated team.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hour

1st Shift: 7 am- 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:



  • Perform secondary machining operations
  • Set up cut-off saws, measure and select materials, and monitor operations
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure precision
  • Operate drill presses, tapers, hand grinders, and deburring tools
  • Support skilled machinists as needed
  • Keep the shop clean and organized



Qualifications:



  • 2-3 years' experience in machining or manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
