The Spa Public Space Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of public spaces within the spa as well supervising spa attendants, pool attendants and the spa night cleaner. In addition, this role will greet and orientate guests to the spa facilities and provide personalized guest service. They are responsible for keeping areas within the spa and outdoor pools neat, clean and well stocked with all amenities.

Examples of Duties:

* Be on time for each shift and flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
* Issue spa lockers, robes and slippers to guests and then escort guests to their respective lockers.
* Provide an orientation tour, explaining the amenities offered and answering guests' questions.
* Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the facility.
* Stock locker room supplies and amenities and maintain accurate supply lists and inventory sheets.
* Review guest appointment/schedules as needed.
* Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
* Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
* Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests and ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
* Possess ability to work without direct supervision.
* Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
* Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
* Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
* Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with company standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to spa attendants, pool attendants and the spa night cleaner to ensure smooth and professional spa operations.
* Assist in training, coaching, and mentoring new and existing team members in guest service standards, computer systems, and spa protocols.
* Monitor staff performance during shifts, providing real-time feedback and escalating issues to management as needed.
* Ensure staffing is adequate by assisting with schedule coordination, breaks, and shift changes.
* Act as a shift lead when management is unavailable, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
* Support management with onboarding, training, and cross-training initiatives.
* Communicate consistently with spa leadership about staffing needs, performance concerns, or operational challenges.
* Help maintain team morale by promoting a positive, supportive, and professional work environment.
* Enforce compliance with spa policies, safety standards, and guest service expectations among team members.
* Serve as the first point of contact for resolving guest or staff concerns in the absence of a manager.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
