You'll work on delivering reliable, scalable, and performant infrastructure that enables seamless app experiences for millions of users. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your understanding of Windows app distribution architecture, build scalable systems that power the Microsoft Store experience, and grow your engineering skills through hands-on contributions to critical platform components. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable design specifications.Independently design, implement, and maintain features and services with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.Break down complex work into manageable tasks and provide accurate estimates for delivery.Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for critical services, leading incident response and driving root cause analysis and long-term fixes.Contribute to architectural discussions and help evolve the system design to meet future scalability and reliability goals.Drive improvements in engineering practices, including CI/CD, testing, observability, and operational excellence.Stay current with industry trends and apply new technologies and practices to improve the product and development process.
