Aerospace Strategic Account Manager, Military Transparencies

As the Aerospace Strategic Account Manager for Transparencies, you will build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, focusing on adding value and driving mutually beneficial outcomes. This role is critical to achieving alignment between the company and clients, developing new business opportunities, and managing complex global accounts. We ask that you be a strategic thinker with a strong background in customer engagement. This is a hybrid role based at our Huntsville, AL. facility. You will report to the Global Business Director, Military & Specialty Transparencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with partners, including customers, and internal teams

  • Collaborate with internal plant and operations teams to support customer meetings, projects, and inquiries.

  • Develop and support customer presentations.

  • Manage customer and program contracts.

  • Provide updates and input to annual and long-term demand forecasts and budgets.

  • Collaborate with teams across complex global customer organizations.

  • Participate in trade shows, educational seminars, product training for customers, and customer events.

  • Identify new opportunities, understand customer requirements, and work with internal product development & design, engineering, operations, and finance teams to develop quotations and value proposals.

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that capture maximum value.

Qualifications

  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply. You must have or be eligible to obtain top secret clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related discipline. A combination of education and industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Negotiation skills and contracts management.

  • Experience in the military, defense, aerospace or government sector.

  • Strong understanding of sales, financial, and operations metrics.

  • Proficiency in MRP software and CRM systems.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% to support customers both domestically and internationally.
