Overview of the Position:

The Data Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of various business reports to provide analytical data and reporting to support various functional areas within Wencors business. The primary focus is to interpret and analyze data that the business generates and provide insights and reporting to support informed decisions.

This position requires partnering with people across the company to support the continued growth and success of the enterprise working within a robust and cohesive team. This person has a passion for data visualization and has already acquired a high level of technical expertise. To be successful, the Data Analyst will need to demonstrate both business acumen and technological insight to execute our data strategy. The position works closely with business users to design, develop, test, and implement visualizations (reports, dashboards, interactive analytics) that go beyond requirements and deliver real business value. In addition to project work, this position will also provide support for the existing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into clear, concise technical requirements and reporting solutions
• Aggregate and perform statistical analysis on business data based on requests from business leadership
• Design and deliver reports, work closely with internal teams to understand their goals and translate them into actionable data solutions
• Interpret data to identify business trends, uncover valuable insights, provide clarity, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, and suggest areas for process improvement
• Improve data access, reporting processes, and automation where possible

Education / Experience Requirements:

Experience in aerospace maintenance preferred.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field preferred.

MBA or master's degree in technology related field preferred.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
