The rate of pay for this position is $55,000 a year plus sales-based commission.

Full-time: Monday through Friday 9am to 5:30pm with some flexibility required

New Avenues for Youth is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Account Manager to lead both inside and outside sales for our growing screen-printing shop. This person will drive revenue through strategic outreach, client relationship management, and sales operations-all while supporting a social enterprise model that empowers youth. Ideal candidates bring a background in screen printing, apparel, or promotional product sales, and thrive in a mission-based environment. This includes but is not limited to:

Developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual revenue goals
Generating new business leads through cold calling, use of social networks and other forms of networking, and community events
Together with the office manager, oversee inbound sales inquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up to close deals
Build and maintain long-term client relationships with businesses, nonprofits, and community groups
Mentor and support youth interns when opportunities arise during order intake or customer interaction.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in sales, with a strong preference for screen printing, apparel, or promotional products
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills-both verbal and written
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Commitment to social justice, equity, and working with a diverse population
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in screen printing or custom apparel sales and/or production
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
