In this role, you will leverage a mix of policy and compliance expertise, technical background, fraud prevention experience, and collaboration skills to help create strategic policies and standards to protect our cloud services from those who try to abuse them. As a Principal Fraud Governance Specialist on the Governance team within Centralized Fraud Abuse Risk (CFAR), you will manage major policy initiatives across Microsoft. We are seeking a collaborative and highly engaging individual for this role, someone who can effectively work with various cross-functional stakeholders to address high-priority fraud and abuse issues through policy and governance strategy alignment. Additionally, you will interact with leadership, legal and other stakeholders to report on the progress of policy initiatives, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned on the strategic objectives and outcomes. Identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. This role provides an opportunity to utilize your expertise in policy development and governance, process development, and collaboration skills to effectively manage and mitigate fraud and abuse to a sustainable level. ResponsibilitiesOversee and lead fraud prevention policy strategy and development Microsoft-wide.Develop and implement processes to support policy compliance enforcement across Microsoft.Helps to make connections and assist in developing agreements among groups to clarify priorities, dependencies, and provide coordination across groups.Develops and promotes effective feedback channels with partners, legal and leadership to ensure alignment and appropriate signoffs are completed.Provide Governance GC support for at least one major fraud and abuse program (M365, Partner Center, XBOX, GitHub, etc.).Represent Governance initiatives you own in monthly business reviews with various organizational levels (SLT, cross-functional teams, etc.). Share insights and lessons learned with the Governance team to drive continues improvements.Leverage AI and continues improvement to minimize manual workloads and repetitive tasks. |
