Location: Torrance, CA (Los Angeles, CA)

JOB PURPOSE:

Be the strategic leader for OTC & Healthcare Division, responsible for driving brand growth, equity, and innovation across retail, e-commerce, and experiential channels. Oversee all aspects of brand marketing, including communications, shopper and digital marketing, national promotions, and collaboration with sales, distributors, and agency partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Define and implement a strategic business plan that promotes profitability and sustainable growth
  • Develop and execute annual brand plan to achieve volume, profit, and brand equity goals
  • Lead brand positioning and innovation strategies to ensure Kowa brands remain relevant with diverse consumer groups
  • Translate consumer insights, category dynamics, and competitive activity into actionable strategies
  • Lead omnichannel campaigns across retail, digital, experiential, and social platforms
  • Guide creative development to ensure brand consistency and consumer resonance
  • Drive execution of promotions, in-store activations, and strategic brand partnerships
  • Partner with national sales to deliver programs that increase distribution, velocity, and retailer support
  • Build sell-in tools, promotional calendars, and tracking dashboards for distributor and retail partners
  • Represent the brand in key customer meetings, category reviews, and trade events
  • Own marketing budget and brand P&L, ensuring maximum ROI
  • Monitor brand performance against financial and strategic goals, making data-driven adjustments
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field required; MBA preferred
  • 7-10 years of progressive CPG brand management or marketing experience;
  • Some experience in OTC/healthcare industry required
  • Demonstrated success building brands across both traditional retail and e-commerce ecosystems
  • Proven ability to lead national campaigns and collaborate effectively with sales organizations
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency utilizing syndicated data tools (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, Circana)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel 20-30%
  • Background in multicultural marketing and targeting diverse consumer audiences, preferred
  • Strong industry relationships with national and regional retailers, preferred
  • Experience with digital media planning, influencer marketing, and e-commerce content development, preferred

Below is required posting and listing information under the California Mandated Pay Scale Disclosure:

1. Compensation
This position is an exempt, salaried position. Salary offered is based on relevant CPG brand and marketing experience at the time of hire. General range of starting salary is $135K - $200K.

2. Additional Compensation
This position is eligible for up to a 30% discretionary annual bonus based on assigned KPI's and goals.

3. Employment Benefits
