Overview

Job Purpose

Senior Commercial Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing vendor revenue share programs and account price increase activities for the Fixed Income Data Services (FIDS) business. The Commercial Operations Analyst will lead and support operational workflows and cross-functional initiatives, with a focus on resolving complex problems and executing strategic processes.

Responsibilities

  • As Commercial Operations Lead, manage onboarding new vendors with revenue shares for the FIDS business, with a focus on Desktop and Feeds. Includes coordination across Product, Content acquisition teams, and Commercial management.
  • Execute and support the resolution of intricate operational issues, escalating only when necessary to senior staff. Apply sound judgment and structured analysis to drive optimized solutions and follow through with implementation.
  • Represent the team in cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment across departments such as Product, Contract management, Content, Accounting and Commercial Management
  • Manage workflows/runbooks related to vendor revenue share and Price increase management ensuring accuracy and structured process to manage the activities throughout the year.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize manual errors and mitigate revenue loss associated with the price increase program.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly operational activities related to ensuring the calculations and reporting for each vendor revenue share program is executed accurately and timely.
  • Contribute to the operational oversight of the annual price increase program particularly for product lines that need manual acct reviews and adjustments.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives related to price increases and other operational projects, overseeing planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive operational alignment, track action items, and ensure timely resolution
  • Assist with automation and migration projects aimed at minimizing manual billing errors and enhancing operational efficiency.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2-5 years of working experience preferred
  • Good understanding of commercial operations, billing systems, and pricing workflows is preferred
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize manual errors and mitigate revenue loss associated with the price increase program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/MS Project) and Tableau is required; Python experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Skilled in creating operations procedures, project documentation, maintaining schedules, and managing dashboards using tools like Monday.com.
  • Capable of working independently while fostering strong cross-departmental collaboration
