LOCATION: Remote (flexible EST hours). Team primarily located in Cincinnati, OH. Travel (if remote) expected 1 week per quarter.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Information Security Engineer II (ISE) will be responsible for developing and supporting the enterprise security tools for our cloud environments. The ISE will also participate in a diverse variety of IS projects and support the ongoing operations of the Information Security department. The ISE will be focused on securing the Bank's cloud environments (public & hybrid) through custom and 3rd party tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement and maintain new features and capabilities while continuously improving the quality of our cloud-based technical products and services
• Build and share technical expertise with your Agile team and other members of the organization
• Follow industry and organizational best practices and standards, and participate in company communities of practice to continuously refine and communicate them. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and creating maintainable, supportable, and testable solutions
• Keep up with technology trends and innovations in your field(s) of practice
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for your team's products and services
• Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• At least 2 years of related experience; 1+ years experience in a hands-on information security development role preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with a scripting or coding language, preferably Python.
• Must be able to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to management, business and IT sponsors, and technical resources in language that is appropriate for each group.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies and development.
• Demonstrated understanding of Infrastructure as Code best practices and experience with building Terraform modules.
• Working knowledge of application and data security concepts, best practices, and common vulnerabilities.
• Industry Standard Certifications (such as, but not limited to): AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solution Architect associate, CompTIA Security +, ISC2 CISSP, and SANS.
• Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the Financial industry.
