Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. II Analyst - Solutions Development.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of applications, systems and solutions that create value for NYU Langone Medical Center. As Lead Analyst for Huron Research Suite skilled in requirements elucidation, with extensive experience in workflow, business process, and user-centered design, the ideal candidate will apply conceptual thinking to create world-class digital experience, bringing together user needs, business goals and technical configuration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain system documentation, integration maps, data dictionaries, workflow and data lineage diagrams and project artifacts. Document and track issues, action items, user requirements, and deliverables using productivity tools such as M365 and Azure Devops Boards or similar.
  • Lead and perform requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that user stories and specifications are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable. Analyze complex requests to provide actionable recommendations and key findings.
  • Collect, analyze, and translate requirements into user stories, workflows, business process logic, process maps, wireframes, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Negotiate priorities, sprint content and longer-term plans collaboratively with the stakeholders, and technical team, to ensure successful completion of projects and regular maintenance releases.
  • Coordinate Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities of a project in coordination with the QA team, business stakeholders and users.
  • Review vendor product release notes and analyze system impacts to business processes, integrations, configurations and customizations.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to elucidate and define system requirements.
  • Manage mid-sprint bugs and issues to assess if in scope for the project or release.
  • Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases.
  • Participate as a key member of an cross-functional agile delivery team, participating in the entire feature and product life cycle from planning through development and launch.
  • Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $97,589.95 - $135,043.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
