Description The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our interdisciplinary team at the Specialty Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic (SPOC). This role involves providing outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in a collaborative clinical setting. Primary duties include:
  • Conduct age-appropriate psychosocial assessments and interventions
  • Interpret patient and family needs, strengths, and preferences to inform care
  • Develop and implement evidence-informed treatment plans
  • Deliver individual, couples, and group psychotherapy
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals
Salary range: $108,451/yr - $129,623/yr
Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work
Valid California LCSW License
Clinical experience with diverse populations and complex mental health conditions (ex. Mood, anxiety, thought, personality, trauma-related, and substance use disorders)
Experience serving geriatric patients
Skills in mental status exams and comprehensive clinical assessments
Proficient in evidence-based treatment planning and documentation
Strong communication skills, especially in behavioral specific treatment planning
Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
