Product Experiences (PE) Platform team is responsible for building the platform on top of which all of Snowflake's external-facing products are built. This includes our Worksheets, Notebooks, Streamlit, Data Engineering Products, Snowflake Intelligence, and Marketplace products. This team accelerates the productivity of all of Snowflake's product/UI engineers by providing the core libraries and building blocks used to build intuitive, performant, secure, and consistent product experiences. Our mission is to enable our broader Snowflake teams to move faster with higher quality. We're responsible for several areas, including our UI component library, design system, testing frameworks, frontend observability, Micro Frontend architecture, build systems, and horizontal experiences. We take care of the UI infrastructure so product teams at Snowflake can focus on building great user experiences and ship fearlessly.

AS AN ENGINEERING MANAGER IN PRODUCT EXPERIENCES TEAM YOU WILL:
  • In partnership with the Product and Eng teams, develop product & technical strategy and vision, and be accountable for setting and delivering on your team's ambitious goals.

  • Leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to attract top engineering talent, and lead the team to deliver highly impactful solutions to our partners and customers of our Snowflake Products.

  • Ensure technical & operational excellence of the solutions your team builds to meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability, observability, and performance.

OUR IDEAL ENGINEERING MANAGER FOR PRODUCT EXPERIENCES TEAM WILL HAVE:
  • 10+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting full stack solutions in production.

  • 8+ years of engineering management experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading other managers and overseeing large, high-performing teams.

  • Strong fundamental computer science skills.

  • Previous work experience as a full stack, search ranking or distributed systems engineer.

  • Experience driving company cross functional initiatives towards customer satisfaction.

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $222,000 - $339,250.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
