Learn more about the Hanash Lab: The Hanash Lab studies immune-mediated tissue damage and regeneration in the setting of hematopoietic transplantation, with a strong focus on acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and the interactions between the microbiota and the immune system. Our research aims to uncover mechanisms that improve transplant outcomes and patient care. In addition, the lab has recently launched a CAR T cell therapy project, expanding our focus on immunotherapy and translational applications.
