Role Overview:

• Laboratory Support: Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, assays, and other essential supplies.
• Techniques & Assays: Perform specialized laboratory techniques, including cell/tissue culture, cell separation, PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, Western blot, ELISA, H&E staining, imaging, and Flow Cytometry.
• Animal Handling: Maintain and manage a mouse colony and conduct animal studies, including IP/IV/SQ injections, tissue/blood/stool collection, Bone Marrow Transplants, and necropsies, to facilitate experimental analysis.
• Data Management: Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team.
• Collaboration: Assist peers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team-oriented, supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven basic laboratory skills and the ability to handle diverse tasks in a research setting.

Learn more about the Hanash Lab: The Hanash Lab studies immune-mediated tissue damage and regeneration in the setting of hematopoietic transplantation, with a strong focus on acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and the interactions between the microbiota and the immune system. Our research aims to uncover mechanisms that improve transplant outcomes and patient care. In addition, the lab has recently launched a CAR T cell therapy project, expanding our focus on immunotherapy and translational applications.
