Overview

VTG is seeking a Financial Analyst (Mid to Senior) to support the Navy's Spectrum Relocation Fund Office in Washington, DC. This position is hybrid (onsite 2-3 days/week (dependent on Customer demand).


What will you do?

  • Responsible for managing the SRF program financials and schedules.
  • Evaluate issues and provides recommendations related to SRF system cost, schedule, and performance. In collaboration with participating managers, review funds execution plans by anticipated obligations and expenditures.
  • Prepare documentation on funds execution information for decisions and evolution related to SRF systems.
  • Maintain and update the SRF Consolidated Financial Summary report (MS Excel).
  • Organize and coordinate the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned projects.
  • Prepare documents/PRs to execute funding in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) accounting database.
  • Submit a diverse variety of financial documents/PRs to cognizant field activities.
  • Provide budget analysis and acquisition management support in the formulation and execution of annual budgets.
  • Provide financial analysis and reports.
  • Track documents/PRs through financial execution process to completion and field activity.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant DoD financial management experience.
  • Must have and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience with the Navy ERP financial management system.
  • Familiarity with the DoD PPBE process and supporting all aspects of the budget cycle.
  • Experience in managing DoD Obligations and Expenditures.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Strong financial data analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the Procurement Business Intelligence Service (PBIS) database.
  • Acquisition Program Office support experience.
  • Highly motivated individual capable of working independently and in teams.
  • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Certification

This position is contingent upon contract award

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $80,000-$120,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
