Responsibilities Orrick is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Science Advisor to join our sophisticated and cutting-edge Patent Litigation Life Sciences team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced attorneys, providing strategic support on complex & high-impact matters involving a broad range of clients across a diverse range of private and public biopharma, and healthcare companies. Our U.S. Intellectual Property team is primarily based in our Southern California, Bay Area, and East Coast offices; however, we are open to considering across the U.S. including fully remote positions. Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $85,000-$155,000, plus bonus, although the salary offered will depend upon an applicant's qualifications and experience, and whether the applicant will work remotely. We are also open to part-time, hourly arrangements for otherwise qualified candidates. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
